Each year the tiny town of Glendo, Wyoming, located next to the beautiful Glendo reservoir, hosts a weekend of airplanes and camping.

This year, the fly-in was back in full force, with a pilot game that put on quite a show for fans from all over.

Some folks spent the day.

Some folks camped all weekend.

Some brought their own food others lined up to enjoy what was served.

Lawn chairs were placed under the trees and folks looked up over the grass runway to watch pilots compete in games like the balloon pop.

That's where a black balloon is launched and the pilots fly by and try to pop it in the air with their propellers.

Then there is the flower bag drop from the plane to hit a target on the ground.

Toys are dropped for kids.

There are low flybys and formation flying throughout the day.

This also seems to be a dog convention and pooches run around and play with canine friends they have not seen since last year.

Folks are welcome to walk the plane parking area and look closely at the aircraft they have been watching overhead.

The pilots are eager to talk aviation with them.

Some visitors even got rides.

Next year will be the 20th anniversary of the Glendo Fly-in.
