Most of us grew up with a caped crusader who would never cross "the line." Batman may have beaten up the bad guys but he struggled to maintain himself as a decent and moral person. Then author Frank Miller wrote a series of comics with a more gritty Batman who, occasionally, killed the bad guy. But certainly he would never pull an F-Bomb out of his utility belt and throw it.

According to a report from Entertainment Magazine Zack Snyder's re-release of Justice League might get R-rated theatrical release

This Justice League movie is the one you saw before but - lets just call it fixed.

The original movie was not well liked by fans. That was because the director everyone loved Zack Snyder, stepped aside and a new director Joss Whedon took over. Whedon shot new footage and rearranged some of the script. Fans say Whedon ruined the movie. That started a fan lobbying campaign called "Release the Snyder Cut," So the original directors cut will rerelease the movie the way it was originally intended.

But the original is 4 hours long. Cutting it back to two hours was, perhaps, one of the reasons why what was released in the theater seemed like too much was happing too fast. The 4 hour Snyder Cut will include never before scenes and an F-bomb-dropping Batman.

The decision has not been made if the movie will be in theaters or on HBO Max.

"I'm a huge fan and a big supporter of the cinematic experience, and we're already talking about Justice League playing theatrically at the same time it's coming to HBO Max. So weirdly, it's the reverse [of the trend]." said Zack Snyder
