Blizzard Certain After Early Opening Of Wyoming Golf Courses

I live across the street from one of Wyoming's nicest golf courses.

On Tuesday I watched as they removed the temporary snow fence and uncovered the greens.

Machines quickly got to work, grooming what should soon be green grass.

I just need to come out and ask it...

ARE THEY CRAZY?

Mother nature is watching -- you know that --- RIGHT?

Now we are going to get a blizzard for sure.

Golfers quickly trespassed to try out the course before it opened.

Nobody really cares if they do that since those people will be paying to play golf real soon.

YEAH, I know, we all want to get outside. I get it.

But we also know how cruel Mother Nature can be.

She suckers us outside every year at this time.

Then, just when we are sure it's okay to turn our sprinklers back on...

WHAMO!

We get hit by A BIG ONE!

Why are we playing into her hands?

Have we not learned this lesson by now?

Whatever you do - DO NOT wash your car and for the love of all that is holy, DO NOT turn your sprinklers.

If Mother Nature sees that you've parked your snow blower and gotten the lawn more out -- Heaven helps us.

She's a cruel woman, you know, with a sick and demented sense of humor.

We seem to fall for it every year.

Do not EVER look at the calendar and think,

Well, it's spring. Let's do spring stuff.

Not before Memorial Day weekend, you don't.
