
Casper Youth Climbing Camp Where Kids Learn Skills

Wyoming is one of the best states in the nation for rock climbing.
This year's Casper Youth Climbing Camp is the perfect place for kids to learn this skill.
Rock climbing is a great workout while solving a puzzle at the same time.
It's a physical and mental workout.
The Casper Youth Climbing Camp is open to youth of all backgrounds in central Wyoming who want to explore the amazing rock climbing resources in their backyard.
This educational climbing camp focuses on three main learning objectives: safety, sustainability, and supportiveness.
Safety is our first priority as participants learn the fundamentals of climbing safety systems and techniques they climb outdoors in Fremont Canyon.

Session 1: June 13-15, 2025
Session 2: June 16-18, 2025
Session 3: July 18-20, 2025
Session 4: July 21-23, 2025

Fremont Canyon near Alcova, Wyoming
Ages
9-18 years old
Price
$300 ($100 deposit at sign up, remaining balance due two weeks before camp). The price includes gratuity for guides working the camp.

12 spots per camp
Transportation and logistics
We do not provide transportation for this camp. We will meet participants near Fremont Canyon each day of the camp for drop-off and pickup.
Daily Schedule
Drop off in Fremont Canyon will be at 8 am and pickup will be at 2 pm.
Lessons and curriculum
This educational climbing camp includes hands-on lessons tailored to introductory youth climbers on the following topics:
They do not provide food, water, backpacks, clothing, or hiking shoes for participants.
Signing up
They require a $100/participant deposit to reserve your spot in the camp. After reserving your spot you will receive a signup email with all of the necessary forms and logistical information for the camp along with an invoice for the remaining cost of the camp.
