Guess we won't have any new neighbors anytime soon.

If 2020 taught us anything, it's that life is too short to not live it the way you want. I don't know about you, but I took a hard look at a lot of things in my life like how I spend my time, who I spend it with, and even where I live.

Luckily, we live in a great place with beautiful views, plenty of activities and wonderful people.

Unfortunately, we didn't get any love on Thrillist's list of the 'Underappreciated American Cities You Should Totally Move To." I was drawn to the title because of the word "underappreciated." I don't think I'm the only one who feels like we don't get the respect we deserve sometimes. We've got a little chip on our shoulder, don't we?

And yet, Cheyenne was not among their 17 choices.

Cities that were selected for this list are celebrated for their comfort, culture and affordability. As Thrillist puts it, "because Austin and Portland are full" these are the places you should move to. We have a lot to offer here. Beautiful views, plenty of outdoor activities, a music scene (have they never heard of Cheyenne Frontier Days?), a growing craft beer culture, affordable living, and more. As I scroll through each of the cities they chose, I don't really see anything that would rule us out. After all, our neighbors to the south, Fort Collins, made the list.

I have a feeling that if this list comes out yearly, it won't be long before we're featured on it.
