If you don't feel like tearing up today, maybe skip this one.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife captured a video of an injured moose and shared it on their Twitter account Wednesday, October 14. You can see the moose attempting to graze in a ravine, but struggling with a badly hurt leg.

If you've already given moosey a name, just read CPW's caption and you'll be jolted back to reality.

CPW continued in another tweet, asking Colorado residents to always watch the road carefully while driving, control aggressive pets, and make sure that your properties are friendly to wildlife. However, things like this do happen, and CPW also reiterates that, when it comes to the calf, Coloradans should "give it space, let it be".
