Dear Wyoming Gas Pump Slow Pokes…
Sometimes we get lost in our own little world and we forget that there are people around us that are trying to get somewhere.
Yesterday I pulled into a convenience store to get gas and was surprised to see a vehicle at every pump.
I decided to wait. One should clear soon, I figured.
Out of the 6 pumps available five of the cars had nobody anywhere around them. Those people had gone inside the store.
There is no way that all five people were paying cash in advance.
Snack items in hand they walk back to their cars.
Do they RUSH BACK TO THEIR CARS because they are holding everyone else up? --- NOOOOOO they do not.

I watched those people exit the store, walking slowly without worrying about the growing number of cars waiting in line to get to a pump.
I waited as they pumped their gas.
Then, after pumping two of them decided to check their oil. They could have done that while the pump filled the car.
One guy who had a large pickup decided to clean his windshield only after the car was full of gas. THEN he decided to use the squeezy to clean his entire truck.
You might be wondering at this point why I was still there waiting.

It's because I was curious to see how this played out.
At no time did anyone look around to see if they were holding up the line of cars waiting in line.
They were all lost in their own little world.
I've seen the same thing at the Walmart self-checkout.
People dawdle in the most inefficient ways without a thought of the line they are holding up.
People - please... can we put a little thought towards those waiting behind us?
It's common courtesy.
