Yeah, that's snow.

Togwotee Pass, Wyoming.

Not a lot but enough to show up on the WYDOT cameras up there.

There might be a little snow in the Bighorn Mountains this Monday.

Not enough to stick or pile up.

But the cold air and white wet stuff will help with fighting fires, so that's good news.

Today is August 26. It's not fall yet.

But Wyoming doesn't care.

If you look in the right places you'll even see a hint of color in some tree and bush leaves.

Okay, it's sticking a little.

But mostly in the green areas and it's not going to stay long.

Don't get too excited if you've been waiting for snow.

This is just Canada testing its cold and snow machines.

Some years they test it earlier than others.

Temperatures begin to warm up and the air will dry out over the next few days.

It will be about a week before we see this again.

Keep an eye on that stop sign in the above photo.

That sign is a yearly gauge to see how much snow falls each year.

Some years that sign disappears altogether and we don't see it until spring.

It's possible that we might see some webcam photos like this on Highway 14 in the Bighorn Mountains sometime tonight.

Like Togwotee Pass, it won't stay for long before it melts off, but who cares?

It won't be long before we are posting photos of changing colors up in those mountains.

The Worst Taxidermy In Existence

Some of these horrible taxidermy jobs are supposed to be bad.

Some were supposed to be good but obviously did not turn out that way.

The Bad Taxidermy Page on Facebook is hours of laughs with shareable images you'll want to send to everybody you know.
