There has been a lot of chatter on social media sites like TikTok about the video posts from Yellowstone National Park.

They are weird

They are edgy.

People are loving them.

There is so much talk about these posts that one might wonder if the park is paying people to say something.

Here is a fake video showing too many bears hanging out.

As far as edgy goes, it's humor that adults would get, but not kids.

Much like the old cartoons that many of us watched when we were kids.

I mean ancient cartoons, like Bugs Bunny. Most kids never understood the adult jokes at the time, but got them later.

Here is one example using Old Faithful.

Is this actually coming from the park service?

It looks like it, but I am hesitant to confirm it at this time.

Edgy humor sells, and it makes people talk about Yellowstone, which makes them want to go visit to see for themselves.

I went to Yellowstone's Facebook page and did not find any videos like these.

Let's be careful here. The internet is full of pranks.

This next TikTok host shows an example that was a little confusing to me, but he seemed to like it. Unless he was getting paid to like it.

Once the Yellowstone pages got started with this, it spilled over to most of the other national park pages.

So what do you think?

Is Yellowstone trying to get more attention by engaging in almost adult and edgy humor, or is this just another internet gag that is being played on us?

It doesn't matter.

It's all in good fun.
