After a nasty storm for much of eastern Wyoming, last weekend, we are now enjoying a wonderful week of spring.

Last weekend's storm brought down trees in southeastern Wyoming with winds that, at times, hit 90mph.

Above that, up to the black hills, there was a lot of snow and at times heavy rain.

That's not all bad, those areas needed the moisture.

This week is bringing us sunny skies and very little wind. This is great weather to get outside and walk.

BUT HOLD ON!

Don Day's regional forecast is below.

Let's talk about next week.

You know what spring is like in Wyoming.

Don't like the weather, wait five minutes.

Monday, April 15th is tax deadline day. Monday you can expect cooler temperatures and rain showers possible for much of the state.

As we move through Tuesday and into the next weekend we can expect an unstable mix of rain and snow with cooler temperatures.

There is a possibility of a bigger storm trying to brew.

But local meteorologists like Don Day of Day Weather aren't saying much about that yet.

Just keep that possibility in mind and watch your local weather over the weekend. We will know more by then.

Forecasting the weather this far out is never an exact science. There are too many elements and they are always changing to make advanced predictions.

But there is enough out there, brewing, to Peak meteorologist interests for next week.

Springtime in the West is when we get more moisture than the rest of the year.

So let's not complain about it.

BRING IT ON.
