Europeans Name Wyoming “North Utah”?

If I gave you a map of Europe and asked you to fill in the countries, how much do you think you would get right?

Most of us would be really bad at it.

But we don't live there, so why would we need to know where everything is?

So let's go to Europe and give people a map of the United States Of America

We can expect to see the same results.

Below is a map of the USA filled in by some Europeans who have never been here.

They got about three places correct.

They know FLORIDA!

They know Texas and they know Texas has guns.

They know California.

Many places are known for what they are famous for but not their state name. Even then they get some of those places wrong.

Arizona is "SOUTH UTAH?

Wyoming is "NORHT UTAH?"

Montana is labeled as "NOBODY LIVES HERE."

OH LOOK! They got Alaska and Hawaii correct.

That brings their score to 5.

There are many places that they just left blank.

I think if they had ever been to Wyoming they might rename it "NOBODY LIVES HERE."

WAIT- They named Washington State "CANADA." They must think that Canada is smaller than it is.

They named Utah, "WASHINGTON STATE."

If we want to be fair, many Americans could not fill in this map either, and that's really sad.
