If you are traveling this Wednesday for Thanksgiving, keep an eye out for slippery driving conditions.

According to Don Day of Day Weather, we are not expecting a major snow event.

But just enough the slick the roads up.

That will especially be true for higher elevations.

It's a good idea to keep road conditions through WYDOT with you at all times so you can see what you're up against.

Depending on where you are, expect a weather fright to come blowing in with light winds, by Wyoming standards, Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Temperatures will drop about 10 degrees from where they were on Tuesday.

Thanksgiving day will be the coolest day of the week, but the weather should be settled by then.

That means you'll be able to enjoy some time outside from Thanksgiving day through the weekend.

Just cool and clear.

Experts have NO idea what we did to deserve this, but here it is. Nice holiday weather.

By the weekend the Wyoming area should be back up to where we were on Monday, with once again mostly clear skies.

That means the trip back home, after this holiday, should be easygoing.

The long ranger forecast doesn't see anything coming our way until maybe the first of December.

Even then, as it looks right now, that colder weather comes in windy but dry, with no snow expected.

But that's the long range forecast. A lot can happen between now and then. We will keep you posted.
