Help Victims of Domestic Violence in South East Wyoming
Help Beach Please reach its goal with its annual drive for Safehouse Cheyenne!
They posted the following on April 5 announcing their second-annual "Safehouse Luxury Drive," in which they are asking for donations of items to help the victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Cheyenne. Last year the drive put together hundreds of pounds of items to help support victims of domestic abuse who had sought shelter with Safehouse.
Donation Item Suggestions
The annual Safehouse Luxury Drive helps victims find a sense of luxury and safety during their time recovering from abuse. Many items requested are things you might have around the house, but Safehouse notes that they are items few people think about when fleeing from a domestic abuse situation.
Items requested for the Safehouse Luxury Drive include everything from food and cleaning supplies to makeup and skincare. Other recommended items include:
- Silverware
- Toothpaste, Brushes
- Loofahs
- Facial Cleaners
- Eyeliner and makeup
- Gel Pens
- Sharpies
- Sticky notes
- Snacks
Safehouse Cheyenne gave more information on what they needed in their own post which they put up yesterday.
