SCARRY Cheyenne JOB! Roofer On Saint Mary’s Cathedral

From the Cheyenne, Wyoming studios of the Wake-Up Wyoming radio show, I can see Saint Mary's Cathedral. It is a beautiful old building that needs a new roof. A new roof on a cathedral must be expensive.

Wednesday morning, while I was on the air, I looked out to see this worker, perched high up on the very sharp peak of that is a massive roof. He had on all the safety gear and was pulling something up, by rope, from the other side.

A guy like this would either find this job terrifying, or more fun than he could ever imagine that he could have. It all depends on the personality type. So, let me ask you, would you want this job?

It's not just about sitting on the roof, but it's about getting there in the first place. Then, he has to shingle the roof. That's going to be a lot of work at a very high and steep angle.

So, let me ask again, would this job be for you? Would you be excited to be up there or scared out of your wits?

I'll have to walk around the building to find out how he got up there. Getting way up to where he can be as scary as having to work up there all day.

How much do you think he gets paid to sit up there and do this? What qualifications does a person have to have? Is there hazard pay?

These are the questions we need answered.
