Those who like to post short videos on social media are often given suggestions for music to play in the background.

Recently, proud Wyoming residents have been offered a cut of Ian Munsick's song  'Prairie Lament'

"Lord, I'd die a little slower in Wyoming
That wild and free puts me at peace
If I draw my final breath when I am roaming
Lord, let Wyoming be where they bury me"

Those words have become the music for a long string of videos posted on social media by Wyomingites. Enjoy these short videos folks have been posting below.

These posts are created by people who are out and about across the Cowboy State doing what folks out there love to do.

Horseback riding, hiking, camping, and so much more.

The videos that are being posted this spring show how green the state is this year.

The air is clear, cool, and crisp.

It's a perfect time to be outside.

The flowers in the video above are just amazing.

Those are cowboys and girls on a cattle drive.

How more Wyoming could we get?

Green mountains and trails.

Rivers and waterfalls.

Who would want to be in a city at a time like this?

Let's take those horses trail riding, as the video above does.

Let's see some snow up high, then ride them down below to the river.

Now lets get off the horse and go for a different kind of ride.

The video above shows riding side by sides with the family dog down the middle of a stream.

We have had some good rain this spring.

The stream is full, the grass is green.

The stream leads to a lake with fresh, clear water.

Snow-capped mountains rise in the distance.

Would you rather go for a drive up the Bighorns?

This does not get old.

Social media has been filled with videos from these proud Wyomingites.

They are showing the rest of the world the glory of our state.

Thank you, Ian Munsick, for these lyrics and the harmony.
