Installation of ‘Gutter Bins’ in Laramie

The City of Laramie has recently purchased two stormwater filtration Gutter Bins™ in order to begin a test program to increase environmental stewardship in the Laramie area.

The Gutter Bins™ will add protection to the Laramie River from pollutants such as trash, cigarette butts, and other debris caught in the runoff. The filtration Gutter Bins™ are made by a Wyoming-based company in Casper who has developed this system to fit into existing stormwater catch basins.

Installation is planned for Friday, June 5.
