TUCSON, Ariz., -- This certainly didn't feel like the end of an era.

Wyoming fans, per usual, were in midseason form Saturday during the Cowboys 16-15 victory over Toledo in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl.

Some asked openly if Craig Bohl could possibly be axed before his retirement became official. As always -- and it was warranted -- the faithful didn't love the offensive execution.

One poster even asked if Jay Sawvel could be fired yet. That came after running back Jacquez Stuart busted an 80-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

It was all tongue-and-cheek, right?

In all seriousness, this fanbase once again showed it is fully invested in this program. It wasn't always pretty. In fact, at times, it has been downright maddening. But tonight in the desert, Bohl is indeed riding off into the sunset with yet another trophy to add to the case.

"It's going to be more than one Manhattan," Bohl joked postgame, referring to his victory drink of choice. "I don't know if I'm going to get up tomorrow morning."

You deserve it, coach.

It's been fun. Thank you for following along all season. Here is the final edition of rants and raves:
