Venus and Jupiter Visible Tonight with Earthshine Radiating from the Moon
Tonight the moon hangs six degrees below Venus.
It's also one of the semi-rare times of the year where the inverse of moonshine occurs -- earthshine -- a phenomenon when sunlight is reflected off the earth, making the moon extra glowy.
Today and tomorrow Venus and Jupiter will be very close to the sunset. The best viewing time will be about one hour after the sun goes down.
