Parade Day is just around the corner, and Casper is already gearing up for a fantastic day. This day isn't just a regular day; it's a tradition. The entire area will come together on July 7, 2026, to celebrate the Central Wyoming Fair and PRCA Rodeo.

It may be one of the few days per year when families get together and spend the day in downtown Casper, watching parade floats, bands, horses, politicians, and community organizations pass by, handing out treats to the waiting kids.

With all the action going on, the Casper Police Department recommends extra safety measures to help keep you and your family safe.

Safety Reminders

• Stay on sidewalks and out of the roadway.
• Keep children within sight at all times.
• Stay hydrated and prepare for summer temperatures.
• Follow all posted signs, traffic control devices, and officer directions.

Before the parade begins at 10 a.m., there's a lot to do to get ready.  So, the roads along the parade route will need to be cleared of all vehicles by 6 a.m. There's a 5k that begins at 9 a.m., the parade rolls at 10, then at 11, and the huge Super Soaker water gun event begins at David Street Station.

After the parade, it's Kids Day at the fair from noon until 5 p.m. Parade day signals the beginning of rodeo action with the PRCA cowboys and cowgirls competing later that evening.

We all know that construction season is in full swing, and there will be parts of Casper where road work is underway. So, keep that in mind when you're heading downtown on parade day.

Here is the parade day route.
