There are two job openings, both of which offer on-site housing, nice salaries, and the chance to live and play at one of Wyoming's incredible State Parks.
Job #1 is for an Assistant Superintendent. The role will be to assist the Superintendent with managing overall site operations, including public relations, buildings and grounds maintenance, visitor services, and personnel and budget management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personnel Management
- Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and manage other aspects of employees.
- Budget Management
- Plan, project, and work with other parts of the park's budget.
- Building and Ground Management
- Keep track of building conditions, do or schedule maintenance, and monitor the park's facilities.
- Equipment and Vehicle Management
- Maintain vehicles and tools, and know how to operate and train on equipment.
- Customer Service
- Address and handle complaints from guests or visitors and work with other state or federal agencies.
- Public Programming
- Develop and work on the park's programs and attractions.
Job #2 is for an Admin & Maintenance Assistant. Work with the Glendo State Park staff and the public to ensure visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting the park.
Key Abilities To Know:
- How to run light and heavy equipment.
- How to use programs like Excel and Word on a computer.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Sprikler and irrigation systems.
- Customer Service
- General carpentry, construction, welding, fabrication, and welding skills.
- Landscaping and groundskeeping.
- Leadership skills.
