One Of The Best Cowboys In Football Coming Back To Wyoming
The University of Wyoming has had quite a few football players star in Laramie, then head to the NFL.
Think Josh Allen, Logan Wilson, Chad Muma, Derrick Martin and 3 x Super Bowl champ and 5 x Pro Bowl tight-end for the Dallas Cowboys, Jay Novacek.
Before Novacek became a star in the NFL, he was a star at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. Such a star, that in 1993 he was in the inaugural UW Athletics Hall of Fame, then in 2008 the College Football Hall of Fame and in 2014 the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.
So, yes, Jay Novacek is a big deal and an important part of Wyoming Football's history.
