It's one of the most challenging songs to perform because it's an integral part of events.

The United State's National Anthem...."The Star Spangled Banner."

If you're up for the challenge, you have a prime opportunity to be one of the performers at Cheyenne Frontier Days this summer. If you're interested, you must sign up before April 30th.

Here are the details from the official application.

Cheyenne Frontier Days™ is currently accepting applications for National Anthem performers for their 128th annual celebration. Nine (9) performers will be selected to perform prior to the nine (9) rodeo performances on July 20-28, 2024.

Selected performers will sing the first verse of our National Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner,” a cappella in a traditional manner, with little or no inflections or deviations, in the center of the rodeo arena.

Each selected performer will receive one (1) complimentary parking pass, and gate access for a maximum of six (6) persons for the date of their performance only.

Airline or ground transportation, hotel accommodations, or concert/night show/evening entertainment tickets are not provided.

The deadline to apply for this year's parade is April 30. 2024. No exceptions will be made to allow late entries.

It would be an honor to sing and do the anthem at one of the country's premiere rodeos and entertainment venues.

This year at CFD is the year of the cowgirl. Celebrating every cowgirl, no matter what level of cowgirl you are, this year is your year.
