Wyoming High School Football Week 5 Scoreboard: Oct. 3-5, 2024
High School football teams are playing in Week 5 of the 2024 season as we get into October. There is one game on Thursday. Most of the action is on Friday and Saturday. Six games feature ranked teams going head-to-head. Thirteen ranked teams are on the road in Week 5. In an unusual twist, three games are already forfeits, while one game was canceled. WyoPreps will track scores throughout these three days.

Final Score: #3 Cheyenne East 29 #5 Kelly Walsh 20 - East trailed 20-7 at the end of the 1st quarter and then scored the last 22 points of the game. Walker had 197 yards rushing and 3 TDs for KW in the loss.
Final Score: #4 Natrona County 41 Laramie 15 - NC had a season-high 428 yards of offense. Olsen accounted for 278 yards of offense and 4 TDs (2 pass & 2 rush).

Class 3A
Final Score: #1 Star Valley 42 #4 Powell 7 - Bryson Nield with 18 catches for 287 yards and 1 TD for the Braves. The yardage was a single-game Wyoming state record!
Final Score: #2 Cody 50 Evanston 3 - the Broncs had nearly 200 yards of offense in just the 2nd qtr, which made the score go from 15-0 to 41-0 by halftime.
Final Score: #5 Riverton 16 #3 Buffalo 15 - Saltsgaver had 2 rushing TDs and a FG to help the Wolverines rally from a 12-0 halftime deficit.
