Cheyenne Police are investigating two incidents of shots being fired in the Sun Valley area that are believed to be related.

That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.

According to the post. the first incident was reported on Monday night at a little after 10 p.m. near the 600 block of Sun Valley Drive. Officers arrived on the scene, but were not able to track down the source of the shots. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

Police Think A Second Incident Is Related

Earlier today, police were called to the same area on a report of a hit and run. A dark colored Toyota Prius was damaged on the rear driver's side. Police also found what they beleive to be bullet damage to the car's roof.

Police investigators think the two incidents are related.

According to the post, the suspect vehicle, thought to be a light colored vehicle with damage on the front passenger side, was reportedly driving south.
