A 53-year-old Cheyenne sex offender is facing a felony charge after allegedly once again failing to register.

According to a booking sheet, Michael Angelino Sena Jr. came into Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday and was found to have a felony warrant out of the same court for failure to register as a sex offender - subsequent violation.

The warrant was signed by Judge Sean Chambers on July 19, 2024.

Sena was taken into custody and walked across to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident.

Sena was seen on the charge the following afternoon, during which his bond was set at $1,000 cash at 10%, which he later posted, and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 8, 2024, at 9 a.m.

According to the Wyoming Sex Offender Registry, Sena was convicted of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor in Wyoming on April 6, 2001, and has been convicted of failure to register as a sex offender three times, once in Colorado on Sept. 23, 2004, and twice in Wyoming on Aug. 23, 2013, and Nov. 12, 2015, respectively.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
