
gBETA Wyoming Offers Help To Startup Businesses
A program billed as a "startup accelerator" is available to help high growth businesses get started on the process of obtaining venture capital to to make dreams of business success a reality.

Wyoming gBETA Is One Of Roughly 20 In The Nation
According to a news release "gBETA is a program created by the national venture capital firm, gener8tor, which is headquartered in Wisconsin. There are around 20 gBETA programs running around the country in middle-American states and communities like Wyoming, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Nebraska. gener8tor works with partners or sponsors to bring these programs for free to communities."
The program is sponsored in Wyoming by Microsoft.
Baylie Evans is gBETA Managing Director. She was recently a guest on the "Weekend in Wyoming" program. You can hear that interview in the audio file attached to this article.
Evans says they work with five companies at a time, chosen through an application process. She says they help the companies "understand the math, the milestones, the language of venture capital, decide if that's the path they want to take with their company, and help direct them towards their path if that is their choice."
