Larimer County Authorities Asking For Info On Church Vandalism
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office is asking for information on a church vandalism case in Berthoud.
That's according to a post on the agency's Facebook page.
According to the post, deputies were notified on Wednesday about anti-Mormon messages and phallic and obscene images spray painted in the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Berthoud./Larimer County Sheriff's Office
A vehicle parked across the street was also spray-painted.
The post includes the following statement from the sheriff:
“Defacing sacred spaces is a heinous act. This is a place that’s deeply meaningful for people in our community, and violating the sanctity of any spiritual home is unacceptable,” said Larimer County Sheriff John Feyen. “We will not tolerate this kind of hate in Larimer County. Our investigations team is working diligently to find out who did this.”
