Cheyenne Police Need Help Finding Missing Teen

The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a missing teen.

According to a department Facebook post, 17-year-old Vincent Gardea ran away from his home in the 4700 block of East 10th Street around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23.

Gardea is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 6 feet tall, with an Edgar cut -- a hairstyle that is often associated with Latino culture.

He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say he was last seen wearing all black with a maroon Nike backpack.

Anyone with information on Gardea's whereabouts is asked to call police dispatch at 307-637-6525.

Police say Gardea has been found safe.
