Southeast Wyoming Distillery Wins Double Gold Recognition
Pine Bluffs Distilling was awarded double gold for their Straight Rye Whiskey recently in the American Distilling Institute 2025 International Spirits Competition.
That's according to a news release.
The release says double gold is a tier above gold in the competition, and that it signifies recognition for outstanding excellence.
Who Is Pine Bluffs Distilling?
Chad Brown founded Pine Bluffs Distilling in 2017 withy the idea of using grains harvested within 10 miles of the distillery. Over time that radius has expanded, but the distillery still uses only Wyoming grown grains.
It’s about our community and our state,” says Brown. “These farmers matter to us, and we see an opportunity to grow a symbiotic relationship—we turn their harvests into deliciously-memorable, authentically-Wyoming whiskeys, bourbons, gins, and vodkas. We all win, which feels like the Wyoming way.”
He goes on to say “We want to make top-shelf whiskey and have fun along the way. If you love what you do, it comes out in the final product, and we’re glad our Straight Rye Whiskey warranted such a high honor from the ADI.”
Pine Bluffs Distilling recently partnered with Wyoming author C.J Box to special release a bourbon named after Box's fictional character, Wyoming Game Warden Joe Pickett. You can read more about that here.
