Wyoming Shooting Over The Weekend Under Investigation
The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Office says no arrests have been made so far in connection with a shooting incident that left a man hospitalized.
Sheriff's office spokesman Jason Mower said the incident was reported at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday in the 600 block of Antelope Drive north of Rock Springs.
When deputies arrived on the scene they found a man with a gunshot wound. The man was rushed to Memorial Hospital Of Sweetwater County being airlifted out for further treatment.
Incident Appears To Be Family Disturbance
Mower says the case remains under investigation, but says the preliminary evidence in the case seems to show that the shooting grew out of a family dispute.
Mower says that as of Monday morning no arrests had been made in the case, and that names of those involved and more details are being withheld for now.
Anyone who might have more information on the case is being asked to contact Detective Wharton at (307) 922-5345.
