Albany County School District #1 Trustee Jamin Johnson has resigned, effective January 1, due to moving out of state. Johnson shared his decision in a letter to the Board of Trustees, which stated:

“My family has been given the opportunity for new and exciting experiences outside of the State of Wyoming, and we have decided to move to pursue these opportunities. Laramie and Albany County have been my home the entirety of my life and will always remain my home at heart.”

Johnson has spent the last three years representing Area A, which refers to the Laramie city limits, excluding Cottonwood Estates and Roach Addition.
