Based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Kids Deserve Dads is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to "empowering men through grace, compassion, and love to honor themselves, and give fully to their children, their families, and society."

In order to achieve this goal, Kids Deserve Dads offers a variety of classes and resources for fathers. Michael Bean, the Wyoming State Director, came into the studio on November 11 to discuss the organization, its current goals, and what its plans were for the future.

They have the following upcoming classes:

  • Key Behaviors Class, first 3 Tuesdays of every month from 6-8 pm
  • 24/7 Dads, running from January 3 to March 21 on Mondays from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Using March 2019 data from the Social Security Administration, Stacker compiled a list of the most popular names in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C., according to their 2018 SSA rankings. The top five boy names and top five girl names are listed for each state, as well as the number of babies born in 2018 with that name. Historically common names like Michael only made the top five in three states, while the less common name Harper ranks in the top five for 22 states.
