The Laramie County Commissioners have released a statement saying that while the COVID-19 situation is showing some improvement locally, they want to send a reminder that "the situation persists."

Because of that, the commission says the Laramie County offices will remain closed to walk-in traffic for now. The commissioners say that each of the county offices ''has established easy, efficient methods for doing business by e-mail, internet, phone, mail, or--in rare cases--individual appointment."

The statement goes on to say that the "situation is temporary" and that the county is working with other governmental agencies and health departments to reopen as quickly as possible.
