The City of Laramie Fire Department (LFD) responded to a structure fire on July 22 at around 6:20 pm. The fire was south of city limits on Wyatt Ct.

The Albany County Sheriff's Deputies told dispatch that the structure was engulfed in flames and that all the occupants had been evacuated.

LFD's Engine 7 arrived to find the home and the attached garage were dosed in heavy fire and grass fire was threatening two other buildings on the property.

Engine 7 committed to a defensive fire attack. LFD Ladder 5 arrived and used the ladder’s master stream to assist with fire ground operations.

There were volunteers from Albany County Central, Big Laramie, and Centennial Valley Volunteer Fire Departments that aided in fighting the fire.

The fire destroyed the garage and house, leaving only the North and a partial East wall of the house standing.  No injuries were reported on scene.  The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
