Blizzard Cancels School in Cheyenne For Monday
As a severe blizzard continues to slam Wyoming, the Laramie County School District #1 announced on Sunday that classes are canceled for Monday (March 15, 2021).
In a message to parents Sunday, the district said, "School buildings and district facilities will be closed. Bus routes will not run, and all activities have been canceled."
“This is a message from Laramie County School District 1 on Sunday, March 14th at 1:30 p.m. Due to hazardous blizzard conditions and in consideration of the safety of our students, parents and staff, the district will be closed on Monday, March 15th. School buildings and district facilities will be closed. Bus routes will not run, and all activities have been cancelled. Any closure or delay information beyond Monday will be communicated prior to 6 AM on Tuesday, March 16th.”
