What Wyoming Radio Station Did You Grow Up With?
The Facebook page I Grew Up In Wyoming has some interesting topic ideas. It's a page worth joining if you're a Wyoming native.
A recent question asked on the page was, PROVE YOU'RE FROM WYOMING - What radio station did you listen to growing up? There were 250 responses in all for stations from all over the state.
Many people also mentioned stations from outside of Wyoming that could be heard at night, on the AM dial. There were many radio stations that went regional or nationwide before we had the internet and satellite television to entertain us.
Radio does more than just play some music. It entertains through a variety of programs, including talk radio, news, weather, sports, and emergency broadcasts. Live radio shows like Wake Up Wyoming with Glenn Woods and My Country 95.5 with Drew in the mornings bring our community and the entire region together.
Wyoming's first commercial radio station was KDFN in Casper, which debuted as KTWO (originally KDFN) on January 2, 1930, making it the state's oldest continuously operating station, though early experimental broadcasts by KFBU from Laramie in 1924 predate it, establishing KFBU as Wyoming's first ever radio broadcast.

Radio has changed a lot. My radio show, called Wake Up Wyoming, is a talk show heard on several stations around the state, yet, at the same time, a good percentage of my audience listens on their phone through the show's website, both live or later as a podcast.
