Man Arrested for Stalking in Laramie
Laramie Police Officers investigated a report of stalking in the Laramie area on February 28 at approximately 8:41 pm.

As a result of the investigation, 42-year-old Brain Hoopes was arrested and charged with Stalking.
According to Wyoming Statute 6-3-506(e)(iv), a person commits the crime of stalking if, with intent to harass another person, the person engages in a course of conduct reasonably likely to harass that person in violation of a temporary or permanent order of protection.
Stalking is a felony punishable by imprisonment for not more than ten years.
