The 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred Saturday morning in a subdivision outside of Fort Lupton.
Multiple agencies, including the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, responded at 8:43 a.m. to a report of a disturbance with weapons at a home in the Aristocrat Ranchettes subdivision, which is in unincorporated Weld County just northeast of Fort Lupton city limits.
