On the 250th anniversary of America, a time capsule will be sealed with items from all 50 states. So, what did Wyoming put in there?

Wyoming donated a letter from Governor Mark Gordon to the official America250 Time Capsule, which was sealed in Philadelphia to celebrate the nation's semiquincentennial and is scheduled to be opened 250 years from now in 2276.

The capsule is not big, so Governor Gordon could not put anything large in there. You can find a list of what each state put in there at this link.

You're probably wondering what our governor said in that letter

Sorry, but the full text of his specific letter has not been published for the public, as it was directly archived within the 900-pound cylinder to remain unopened for 250 years until 2276.

I don't know about you, but I don't think that is fair. I want to know what he said to those in the future who open it. It makes me wonder what I would have said, or what you would have said.

The capsule features contributions from all 50 states, five U.S. territories, and Washington, D.C. While paper contributions and letters were popular choices among many states, other regions included highly specific artifacts, such as a piece of Civil War eagle feather from Wisconsin and a whale bone from New Hampshire. Old Cheyenne Buildings, New Purpose

Wyoming owner of TJoe's Restaurant and all-around entrepreneur Sherrie Lyle purchased some old buildings on the west side of downtown Cheyenne, Wyoming.

There is an opportunity to transform these once grand and now forgotten structures into a new business area.

Many new businesses are looking at this old side of Cheenne. Restaurants and stores are looking at the old structures and imagining what new things they can do with them.
