Pigeon Stuck In Air Vent Above Wyoming Radio Studio

Monday morning, I was on the air, making a jerk out of myself as I always do across several of Wyoming's talk radio stations at once, when I heard a noise in the studio air vent. (Radio show Wake Up Wyoming With Glenn Woods).

Was there a mouse up there?

Being the radio professional that I am (pause for laughter) I just kept doing my show.

But all the while I was worried about what I was hearing.

Tuesday morning, it was obvious that the critter was sitting on one of the grates above my head.

Worried that I might be killed by a mouse I told my audience what was happening. If I was going to DIE there needed to be witnesses.

Let's face it, this could turn into a Tom & Jerry cartoon, and I was TOM!

I heard it slip and fall on its butt above me.

Feathers poked through the grate.

IT WAS A BIRD!

So that's why there was bird crap on the radio station's kitchen floor.

Someone had reported bird crap on the sofa in their office.

He has been traveling through the ceiling air pipes. Then he sits on a vent and drops poop through it.

Interesting, one of my radio listeners from our Casper station K2 Radio had just said that that's what he thought I was going to find.

Another listener from our Laramie station KOWB suggested that I name the bird KEVIN!

We understand why he is up there - it's FREAKING COLD OUTSIDE!

But we don't know how he got in there.

According to my former producer Miss Mary, this bird is actually a DRONE SPY. I host a political talk show so that actually makes sense.

Whatever the case it seems like Kevin can't find his way out.

We plan to rescue him, but we have not figured out how just yet.
