SCORE! – Bison Hospitalizes 2nd Yellowstone Tourist Of 2025
It's a line-up, a HIT - and A SCORE for the bison.
The second KO of 2025 just happened at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
The bison were feeling a little behind on their quota this year. They have some catching up to do. This hit puts them in a better mood.
A 30-year-old New Jersey man, who could not or would not listen to every sign in the park telling him not to get too close, sustained minor injuries after he was gored by a bison in Yellowstone National Park on Tuesday, June 10, according to a release from the park.
It was 9:45 a.m..
A group of visitors at the Upper Geyser Basin at Old Faithful approached a bison too closely.
The guy who didn't know how to read or listen was a resident of Randolph, New Jersey.
This makes sense because smart people don't live in New Jersey. They leave that state and never look back.
I wonder if getting mauled by a Yellowstone bison hurts more than getting mugged in Jersey.
ANYWAY he sustained minor injuries and received care and hospital transportation from EMS personnel.
This is the second reported incident of a person injured by a bison in 2025. The first occurred on May 7.
“The incident is currently under investigation, and no further details are available at this time,” the release said. “There are no photos or videos of this incident to share.”
DARN IT - we wanted pictures.
The bison was later seen talking to his buddies about the hit and bragging about the look on the human's face when he suddenly launched at him.
The bison then pulled out his scorecard and made a mark.
