What a great way to FREAK OUT scuba divers: plant a life-sized Jason Voorhees at the bottom of a lake, mask and all, and not tell anyone. The creators of the movies must have been so proud when they heard about this.

If you saw the movies then you know that this prank was inspired by the ending of Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives, where Megan and Tommy manage to defeat the infamous Jason Voorhees by trapping him in the bottom of Crystal Lake.

It was scuba diver Curtis Lahr who decided to pull one of the best pranks in the history of pranks. He put together a life-size statue of Jason, complete with hockey mask and machete, then took it down to the bottom of Crystal Lake.

For Jason fans, this is not the one in New Jersey. You'll find this lake in Crosby, Minnesota. The statue has been sitting in the lake just waiting for a diver to find it.

Unfortunately a diver did find it and made this video and now it's going viral. That means that every diver out there will want to go and visit this quiet little place and shoot a video like the one you see above.

No matter if you are a fan of these movies or not, you've got to admit, what a great prank.
