The defeat of the proposed revisions to the tobacco ordinance means the City of Casper is out of sync with state law.

However, it is still illegal for retailers to sell any tobacco product to any person under the age of 21, per the new federal law.

Effective December 26th, 2019, the minimum age for buying tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, vaping products, etc.) is now 21.
