Where are these wonderful mountains I've heard so much about?

This is going to be one of the smokiest days yet for Wyoming. Not a single part of our state is going to miss it.

"But now I don't even have to step outside. The thick air from those forest fires has gotten into everything. It's like I have a cigarette going all the time."

Well I just wanted to remind you that it's all still out there and it's as beautiful as ever.

It's been another bad year for smoke. Not just in Wyoming but across the entire United States.

The Mullen Fire, which is generating most of the smoke, is still only 14 percent contained.

Cheyenne is expecting smoke plumes this morning and again this afternoon.

The warning says ''Sensitive groups should avoid excessive physical exertion and minimize time outdoors.''

We're very lucky that we don't have to deal with the wildfires happening on the west coast or even those happening to the south in Colorado. And yes, there have been some in Wyoming. But we're most certainly having to deal with the fallout.
