A 24-year-old Wyoming woman is dead following a head-on crash in Carbon County, the Highway Patrol says.

State preparedness activities have included filling sandbags, shoring up dikes, and the updating of some county websites with additional information and resources.

Baggs Search and Rescue originally went out to save one person in last week's winter storm. They ended up rescuing 11 and brought them to The Cowboy Inn at 2 AM, where the owner had coffee and ham sandwiches waiting for them.
