Boys Soccer

Ethan Leslie was selected as the Gatorade Wyoming Boys Soccer Player of the Year for 2025-26 on Friday. He's the second winner of the award from Kelly Walsh High School.

With regular season winding down, matches are starting to get more and more important for postseason positioning.

There is one extra match on the boys’ schedule this week compared to the girls. There are No. 1 versus No. 2 battles on the pitch in boys, as well, just with different teams in 3A.

The weather could impact the schedule this week. A few matches have already been adjusted. The schedule has games on five days.

It’s another light slate of action on the pitch. Spring Break and schedule gaps affect 11 schools.

Based on points, Buffalo, Lander, Sheridan, and Green River lead the conference races early on.

Several schools will play their first match of the year this week. Another first is the start of conference action in the 4A East Conference.

The Trojans grabbed No. 1 in 4A girls, while the boys' polls had two new entries.

The preseason rankings have the Cody girls, Jackson girls, and Jackson boys at No. 1. Last year’s defending 3A boys’ champ, Buffalo, was second in the balloting.

The 2025 Class 4A Regional Soccer Championship tournaments are this weekend.
