Eligible agriculture, business and nonprofit entities can apply one time per fund.

Wyoming has used CARES Act money to purchase 75,000 at-home COVID-19 tests for its residents, Gov. Mark Gordon announced Wednesday.

The Interruption Fund is one of the three relief programs administered by the Business Council.

The governor signed three bills passed by the Wyoming Legislature in a two-day special session last week.

At least one more special session is likely, possibly a five-day special session starting on June 29.

The State Constitution grants the Legislature 20 days for special session time, and the next one probably will be in late June.

Rep. Chuck Gray says the CARES Act money should not be used to "grow government."

The state was awarded about $1,25 billion under the legislation, which is designed to help offset the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the letter, America's oil and natural gas industry is responsible for 10.3 million jobs in the U.S. and nearly 8% of the country's GDP.
