After a successful rodeo career, Chris LeDoux went on to release 36 albums and perform at CFD six times, including an iconic 1996 turn with Garth Brooks.

Ledoux competed at the CFD Rodeo and performed in the night shows too.

Cheyenne Frontier Days is just about a month away to the day as we are in the final countdown to the 125th anniversary of the 'Daddy of 'em All'. Not only does that make this year so special, as does the fact that it will be the first one since 2019, but also because this year, we celebrate the legendary world champion rodeo cowboy and country music singer, Chris LeDoux.

Cheyenne Frontier Days announced on Wednesday that they are adopting and implementing a 'Clear Bag Policy' for the event that runs from July 23-August 1, 2021.

Earlier this month the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame, located in Colorado Springs, announced the opening of a temporary gallery titled "Tribute to Chris Ledoux".

Many LeDoux fans know that Chris won the 1976 NFR Champion in Bareback Bronc Riding, but many of us have never seen that winning ride. You can watch it here.

When you think of music in Wyoming, hopefully one of the first names that comes to mind is Chris LeDoux. Here's a weird fact for you: Chris isn't actually from Wyoming.

God really did bless the Cowboy State. Besides natural resources and rich Old West history, there are many awesome things Wyoming gave the world.
