Winter conditions have forced the closure of hundreds of miles of Interstate 80 in southeast Wyoming, causing many places around Cheyenne to close.

Gusty winds continue to blast Interstate 80 between Rawlins and Cheyenne, where High Wind Warnings remain in effect until 5 p.m. this afternoon.

Restaurants may remain open only for curbside take-out or drive-through service, and cash payments are strongly discouraged.

According to data from the Wyoming Department of Transportation, I-80 has been closed 54 out of last 152 days.
