The Pokes will be looking for their first win of the season as they'll take on Hawaii

Wyoming freshman placekicker John Hoyland was tabbed as the Mountain West Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday.

The Pokes had a 3-day pause in work-outs due to COVID-19 break-out with freshman football players.

The Pokes will play 8 games in 8 weeks with a home game on December 12.

The re-start for Mountain West football has begun.

The MWC is certainly looking into that exact possibility.

Even the games that are played will surely be in stadiums that are empty or let in only a fraction of their normal capacity.

According to the CBS report, the Mountain West Conference is the nation's second FBS program to cancel football.

Football will not begin until September 26th
